The London Initiative for Safe AI (LISA)’s mission is to improve the safety of advanced AI systems by supporting and empowering individual researchers and small organisations. Become a Visiting Member

Member types

🧑‍🎓 Visiting Member

Visiting membership is the base-level membership for individuals wanting to work at LISA’s research centre with access to communal spaces, a Slack community invite, and ability to reserve coworking space.
This membership type:
- aims to further strengthen the network and community of AI-safety researchers working in and outside of LISA’s research centre by facilitating communication & collaboration
- allows for individuals whose primary working environment is elsewhere to occasionally work from the centre

🏛️ Organisation Member

Organisations can apply to be members of LISA as a collective entity.
This allows:
- an organisation’s members to directly reserve fixed- and hot-desk coworking spaces with resident privileges
- reservation of private office spaces (subject to availability)
- the capacity to run events, workshops, or seasonal programmes (e.g. MATS extension, ARENA, PIBBS Fellowship) out of LISA’s research centre
