The London Initiative for Safe AI’s (LISA) mission is to advance AI safety for the public benefit and reduce the risks of global catastrophic harms from advanced AI systems.

We do this through running a member-lead, AI-safety hub that empowers individual AI-safety researchers, small organisations and upskilling programmes.

We aim to create a supportive, collaborative, and dynamic environment that hosts members who are pioneering a diversity of AI-safety research.

💼 Role Overview

We’re looking for a warm, proactive individual to join our existing front of house team and play a key role in creating a friendly, efficient, and supportive environment for our members and guests. You’ll be able to communicate and coordinate with various internal and external-stakeholders from industry leaders, academics and students, to government officials. You will be the first port-of-call for any problems and ensuring our members and visitors have an excellent experience whilst in the centre.

🌟 Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment: Ensure every member and visitor at LISA feels genuinely welcome, valued, and cared for. Get to know our members and guests, proactively assisting with any questions or needs and answering knowledgeably.
• Maintain front desk operations: Keep front desk activities running smoothly, handling tasks such as intercom management, guest passes and keycards, post and packages. Keep track of and update relevant member notes on LISA's systems as necessary.
• Managing daily catering deliveries: Work with the front of house team to manage daily catering deliveries, including the lunch and dinner setup.
